YES on PROP 1: ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Authorizes a $4 billion bond to fund home loan subsidies for veterans and affordable housing programs, including construction, rehabilitation and preservation of rental housing for low-income families.
YES on PROP 2: PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Allows the state’s Mental Health Services Fund to finance permanent supportive housing for people experiencing homelessness who are in need of mental health services.
YES on PROP 10: AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACT
Restores the power of local governments to set fair limits on rent increases in their communities so that vulnerable individuals and families are not forced into homelessness or poverty.
YES on MEASURE D: FULL VOTER PARTICIPATION INITIATIVE
Ensures final decisions on candidates for San Diego County offices (Supervisor, District Attorney, Sheriff, County Board of Education, etc.) are made in the November general election when many more county voters participate in the election process.
YES on MEASURE W: RENT STABILIZATION IN NATIONAL CITY
Regulates annual rent increases, requires just cause for eviction, ensures protections for homeowners, and creates a five-member board to administer the measure.
