Maddie Palzewicz joined the ACLU Foundation of San Diego & Imperial Counties’ communications department in November 2022.
Previously, she served as the development assistant for the University of California San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy. Before moving to San Diego in early 2022, Palzewicz worked for three years as chief of staff for a state representative in her home-state of Wisconsin. Palzewicz also has experience working on political campaigns for candidates for the U.S. Congress and Wisconsin State Assembly.
Palzewicz attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish, and a certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies. She studied Spanish for a semester abroad at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain.
In her free time, Palzewicz enjoys hanging out with her dog, watching TV shows and movies, reading, and playing ultimate frisbee.
